Dunster Matchmaker

Free during the first release

Where the people who have the work meet the builders who make robots do it.

Post a pain point with video, photos, text or a voice note. Builders list what their robots can do today and at what stage. Dunster matches the two by hand, shows each side an anonymized picture of the other, and exchanges identities only when both say yes.

builders with capability cards

Three kinds of member from day one

  • End users with repetitive, risky or hard-to-staff work.
  • Builders of robots and physical AI, at any stage.
  • Integrators and solution providers, who are also builders here.

How a match happens

  1. Step 1

    Post

An end user describes the work: process, objects, rate, environment, size of the need. Names, faces and addresses stay out.

  2. Step 2

    List

A builder lists capability cards, one per task, each with an honest stage from concept or lab demo to production at several sites.

  3. Step 3

    Match by hand

Dunster compares the need with the cards and logs a reason for every builder included or excluded.

  4. Step 4

    Mutual yes

Each side sees the other anonymized. Only when both say yes are identities and contact details exchanged.

  5. Step 5

    Report back

Both sides report where the deal stands at 30, 90 and 180 days, and leave feedback. That is the price of the platform in v1.

All examples

Four example posts, written by Dunster from its own builder-side ideas: pharmacy fulfilment, a hub serving many stores, hazard-zone switching and inspection, and picking fragile mixed objects. They are labeled as examples and never counted.

Example from Dunster

Picking mixed, fragile objects: glass, bottles, balls and boxes in one cell

A fulfilment operation wants one picking cell that handles its whole mixed stream, from thin glass to soft bags, without changing grippers. Today fixed grippers handle rigid boxes well and break or drop everything else.

A safety badge that means something
